We are sad to share that our good friend, Justin Schmidt, renowned entomologist, passed away February 18, 2023.
Justin was a great friend. He touched many lives and inspired many to know and appreciate our natural world and its beauty. He connected with our community to encourage living harmoniously with nature and graciously shared his scientific knowledge. Many of you have asked for a way to contribute to TMA in his name. We are accepting contributions in his name via the button below.

Dues are $30 per calendar year per household, due January.
TMA is a nonprofit volunteer organization that depends on your support.  Dues and contributions support issues that impact you and the future of the Tucson Mountains, including: land use advocacy to protect habitat loss in the Tucson Mountains, citizen science projects, Scenic Route Preservation Campaign, Painted Hills Park, road and buffelgrass clean ups, signage, trail maintenance, education,  communications via website, newsletters, etc., partnership that support TMA's mission, and Membership events including the annual picnic.
